Addiction and Youth

Addiction among youth is a growing concern, with young people increasingly exposed to substances like alcohol, drugs, and nicotine. Early substance use can interfere with brain development, leading to long-term cognitive and emotional issues. Factors such as peer pressure, stress, and family environment often contribute to youth addiction. Addressing this issue requires comprehensive prevention and intervention strategies, including education, counselling, and support services. Early intervention is crucial to prevent the progression of addiction and to promote healthy development and well-being.
